Hearing Tests
Hearing Tests at
Aspire Audiology
The earlier you treat a hearing loss, the more successful you will be in fighting it. And the first step in any journey toward better hearing is with a hearing test. We use the best technology and specialty care to measure exactly how well you can hear at various frequencies, as well as your ability to understand speech.
Consultation
We will discuss your medical history to help identify any potential underlying causes of your hearing loss.
Ear Examination
We conduct a thorough hearing evaluation to determine the extent of your hearing loss and assess your overall hearing health.
Tests
We offer a range of tests to evaluate your hearing. These include pure-tone audiometry to measure how you hear different sounds, speech recognition to assess your ability to understand spoken words, and tympanometry to check for fluid or issues in the middle ear. These tests help us identify the best treatment for your hearing needs
Review of Audiogram
The test results will be plotted on an audiogram, which provides a visual representation of your hearing abilities. We will then review the findings with you and discuss the next steps for your care
Services
Va Services
Are you a veteran concerned about your hearing? You're not alone. Approximately one million veterans receive hearing loss disability compensation annually.
Hearing Aid Repair
Hearing aids consist of sensitive electronic technology, small microphones, speakers, and tubing. These tiny components can be filled with wax or moisture and fail from time to time.
Tinnitus
Tinnitus is a common condition affecting around 50 million Americans. Many people describe it as a hissing, roaring, whooshing or buzzing noise. It can be intermittent or chronic, and is not a disease itself, but a sign of an underlying medical condition.
Custom Hearing Protection
There are many pleasant sounds that we hear every day at safe levels that will not harm our hearing. Some sounds however, can be damaging if they're too loud— even for a short period of time— or if they're long-lasting, even if they're not as loud. These sounds can cause injury to part of the inner ear and result in permanent loss of hearing.
